In brief, we launched www.lifeandstyle.com.my and a great time was had by all. I test drove the Land Rover Freelander all weekend and really gave it a good workout. I've discovered even more new watering holes. I've gotten back in touch with a whole bunch of old friends and made some new ones.
But for now, I'm gonna Blogthings it. Because this was freakily accurate :
Your Birthday's Wisdom is Individuality |
![]() Life has required you to go your own way and do your own thing. You've been taught to rely on yourself. You don't feel comfortable relying on others. You are highly motivated and aggressive. You have no problem getting things done and getting what you want. You feel like you have to look out for yourself, because no one else is. |
Have a great long weekend everyone (in Sabah). Kopivosian Tadau Ka'amatan. Aramaiti!

The Freelander is good, but I'm a traditionalist. Give me a Defender anyday. I drove a 1983 Series 3 Landie in Malta and loved it.
It's a very emotional response, you either love it immediately, or hate it the moment you scramble inside. There can be no middle ground, or ambivalence. It's strange though, to a person, every man who has ridden or driven my landie, has beamed with pleasure and every single one has said "I'd love to own one of these...".
Conversely, I've yet to find a single women who has anything good to say about the vehicle at all! You're obviously the exception.
Hi D - Admittedly I don't have the full on Landie experience with the more hardcore models. I've been a little pampered with the freelander and it appealed to my inner princess.
Oh and I like it's push-start ignition. And how great the nightlights are on a very dark road. And how the review mirrors automatically adjust when you reverse. And those leather seats.
Sigh...I've developed a little crush. Can't you tell? :)
